Apartments Orlando is ideally located on the Stradun so you are staying in the heart of Dubrovnik with a huge range of excellent restaurants, cafes, upmarket shops, supermarkets, souvenir stalls, fresh produce stalls, banks and atm machines, the spectacular harbour, historic churches, easy access to all the historic attractions plus you are surrounded by the beauty of the Island and a great atmosphere. The staff Ivo and Ivana were extremely helpful and friendly and went out of their way to assist us with our enquiries. When we checked out, we were able to leave our suitcases in their reception area without charge until we left Dubrovnik in the early afternoon.
The stairs but only because the 4 of us had been travelling for almost 5 weeks and had extremely heavy suitcases but thanks to Ivo who was most helpful in assisting my husband to get the suitcases up to our apartment.

This hotel is perfectly located just outside of the city gate in the center of Dubrovnik. The staff are friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere in the Old Town. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with all necessary amenities, including WiFi. Additionally, the fact that breakfast is included in the price is a great value.
No improvements needed, everything was satisfactory.

I stayed at the apartmets Orlando from 10/16/12 to 10/21/12. I booked the attic apartmet. There are 2 beds up there. A double bed in one room and a single bed in another. With the double bed, the ceiling of course is slanted which makes it difficult to get to the other side of the bed, unless someone wants to get in from the near side first. These apartments are in a busy area with bars/cafes nearby and so it is noisy until about 2 am. The windows are the old european style which don't seal well. Still I didn't have much trouble sleeping even though I'm a light sleeper myself. I read in another review where someone wrote their apartment had no hot water. Well I found out when I got there that the hot water heater is mounted up on the wall in the bathroom, has a temperature gage and a red led power indicator on it. When I went in, the temp was all the way down and the light off. I had also noticed outside the bathroom there were two light type switches with red on indicator lights above them. They were off, I flipped one on and the water heater came on and later I had plenty of hot water. The internet wasn't working in my room that night, so I told them the next morning. They said I could move down into one of the larger apartments, because the internet for upstairs wouldn't be fixed til the next day. This apartment (#1) had a double bed and a double sofa bed in the same room. It too is some what noisy. It's in a great location though. Except when you leave or enter the old town or climb the stairs in the building, you don't have to deal with any steps as you do with other apartments in the outer part of old town. These people also set up tours and you should definitely do some day trips, especially to Mostar and Montenegro. It's a little difficult to find.
A little noisy

We are trilled with accommodation and place in general (staff, cleaness and location overlooking to main street Stradun) . And Dubrovnik is the most romantic place in the world, especially during the night time.

This hotel offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable and the attention to detail is impressive. The location, right in the center of Dubrovnik just outside of the city gate, is perfect. Additionally, the rooms have the charming atmosphere of the Old Town and come with all the necessary comforts, including WiFi and a view. The breakfast included is a nice touch.
Everything was great, nothing to complain about.

The location in the old town was very good. A little noisy at night due to the nearby Irish Pub. But that was only because of the football games being played in Europe at the time. All part of travel experience. We closed the windows and managed to sleep . We enjoyed the experience of watching the passing parade from the accommodation. It was easy to find a reasonably priced restaurant, and there are many of them. It was pleasant to relax at the end of the day with a relaxing stroll down to the waterfront. The young man managing the apartments was friendly and helpful. we felt very much at home in the area.

Brilliant location in the heart of the city overlooking the main pedestrian street.
In terms of future development, the owners might wish to consider supplying a hair dryer and an iron for an apartment of this level/nature.

We also had a great view of the city from our window! Lastly, the luggage room was convenient when checking out.
Noise from nearby deliveries interrupted our sleep.

The staff were all kind, and the room was cheap with all comfort. Location: the hotel was so close to all the bars, Dubrovnik and Pile Gate. I tried some drinks at wine bar D'vino Wine Bar, located 5 minutes walk away.
